Melissa Facenda is the Manager of Quality Assurance at NorthEast BioLab. She has vast domestic and global Quality and Regulatory experience at every stage of drug development and research. Ms. Facenda’s commitment to continuous improvement and education keeps NorthEast BioLab poised for high-quality deliverables as well as prompt sponsor and regulatory audits. Her vast and deep experience supports a compliant, logical, flexible, quality-focused approach on our diverse studies without ever sacrificing data integrity from the lab bench, dosing in the GLP Lab, to FDA submission and inspection. In addition to her unwavering dedication to Quality, she has over 20 years of experience in personnel and environmental safety regulations, procedures, and programs. Before joining NorthEast BioLab, Ms. Facenda was part of the in-house quality teams at various emerging biotech companies, including Alexion, Regeneron, Protein Sciences, and Taconic. Melissa is an active member of ASQ, RAPS, and ASMS. In 2000, Ms. Facenda earned her ALAT Certification from the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS). Melissa received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the State University of New York at Albany.
