Dr. Vipin Agarwal is the founding
member of NorthEast Bioanalytical Laboratories and serves as President
and Chief Executive Officer. He received his Bachelor's and
Master's degrees in chemistry in India and completed his Ph.D. in 1982
at the University of New Brunswick, Frederricton, N.B., Canada.
He also completed an M.B.A. in R&D management at
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York. Dr. Agarwal
worked for the state of Connecticut analytical laboratory for seven
years and was then employed at Bayer Pharmaceuticals in West Haven,
Connecticut for ten years. While employed at Bayer, Dr. Agarwal
oversaw all managerial aspects of the bioanalytical laboratory, which
was responsible for supporting all clinical trials that were conducted
in North America. He has more than 18 years of practical
experience in the areas of analytical chemistry, laboratory management
and clinical development. He has authored more than 30 scientific
publications and served as editor for a book entitled, "Analysis of
Antibiotic/Drug Residues in Food Products of Animal Origin",
proceedings of an American Chemical Society Agricultural and Food
Chemistry Division Symposium. He is also a member of the
editorial board of the Journal of Liquid Chromatography and Related
Technologies.
