As an Intern, you will work closely with our team of veteran scientists and senior chemists to help develop bioanalytical methods for the analysis of drugs and metabolites in biological fluids like blood, plasma etc. These methods are developed using Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry instrumentation.
Our goal will be to ensure that you develop a thorough understanding of the technology fundamentals, as well as good working knowledge of operating these instruments. You will get an overall understanding of how bioanalysis is used for drug development and research. Furthermore, you will learn how to participate in professional writing of laboratory reports documenting results and test data.
Interns must observe appropriate safety and study requirements by reading, understanding, and following our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) requirements, and study conduct protocols.
Qualifications / Experience
M.S. / B.S. in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, or related areas. Highly interested in a future career in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology field. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency with productivity software such as MS Office suit are essential.
