You enjoy leading challenging bioanalytical projects, including the development and implementation of new assay methods, enhancement of existing methods, and transfer of client-provided methods under limited-to-no supervision.
Your strengths include troubleshooting analytical instruments and method performance, periodic client consultation, and guiding preparation of technical reports.
As a scientist at NorthEastBioAnalytical Laboratories, your primary objective is to ensure that high quality, robust, and efficient bioanalytical methods are developed or transferred in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet or exceed client and company requirements.
You must implement and observe appropriate safety and study requirements by reading, understanding, enhancing, and following our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) requirements, and study conduct protocols.
Qualifications / Experience
Ph.D. (2+ years) / M.S. (5+ years) in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, or related areas. Experience in method development, optimization, and validation in immunoassay platforms, such as ELISA, MSD-ECL, RIA, DELFIA, HTRF, and AlphaScreen. Hands-on experience with Spectrometers and SoftMax software is a great plus.
Strong background in analytical chemical sciences is required. Ability to work independently with limited direction from management is expected. Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency with LIMS and productivity software such as MS Office suit are essential. Knowledge of GxP environments and regulations is desirable.
