Scientist – Small Molecule

Job Description

You enjoy leading challenging bioanalytical projects, including the development and implementation of new assay methods, enhancement of existing methods, and transfer of client-provided methods under limited-to-no supervision.

Your strengths include troubleshooting analytical instruments and method performance, periodic client consultation, and guiding preparation of technical reports.

As a scientist at NorthEast BioAnalytical Laboratories, your primary objective is to ensure that high quality, robust, and efficient bioanalytical methods are developed or transferred in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet or exceed client and company requirements.

You must implement and observe appropriate safety and study requirements by reading, understanding, enhancing, and following our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) requirements, and study conduct protocols.

Qualifications / Experience

PhD (2+ years) / M.S. (5+ years) in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, or related areas, with experience in quantitative bioanalysis including method development, validation, optimization, and production using LC – MS/MS. Hands-on experience with Sciex Mass Spectrometer and Analyst software is a great plus.

Strong background in analytical chemical sciences is required. Ability to work independently with limited direction from management is expected. Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency with productivity software such as MS Office suit are essential.
